Bad Bobby is a place to keep track of YOU…

Our Team has spent the last ten years producing research and developing tools based on how people learn and develop. We know no matter who you are (from a parent to a president) or where you work (from a corporation, church, not-for-profit, school, government agency, or in your home) we all have a deep desire to get real about how we learn, who we are, what we care about, our strengths, and our weaknesses. The problem is that in many cases, the powers that be have failed to provide us with the resources or space to get real about what we’re learning and how we’re getting it done. Our goal is to provide you with a place to track your tasks, goals, and work, and give you tools, assessments, and feedback that will help you learn on the job and in life. You will build a network that can provide feedback on the work you are doing, and then you can rate the feedback they give you based on how helpful it was to you. That way, you are helping them as they seek to get better at helping others. You decide who looks at your goals and tasks, and who is invited to give you feedback. For this reason, your profile and all information contained in Bad Bobby is yours. You decide who sees it.

What’s with the name Bad Bobby?

You might be wondering where the name Bad Bobby came from. Dr. Rob McKenna is a university professor, author, father, consultant, leader, son, husband, musician, and gamer. Bad Bobby is his online gamer tag. The name may sound juvenile to some, but as he would tell you, each of these roles is a piece of who he is as a person and as a leader. All of the different roles you play every day are important parts of who you are, and your learning and development is a combination of many things. Let’s face it, the real you is a combination of all the things you do, all the things you are, and all the experiences you have had. Bad Bobby was built with the intention helping you get real about how you learn and grow.

We built Bad Bobby to provide you with a space where you can track what you working on, connect with a network of people to get feedback about your development and goals, and get a virtual mountain of personalized information about your network, strengths, areas for development, and your feelings about work and life. It is our hope that this tool will help you get back on track, stay on track, and find fulfillment and purpose in what you do every day. By the way, we also hope you have fun using it. Life is too short to not have a little fun once in a while.
